Here at Riegle Press we pride ourselves in a 100% digtal workflow solution, set by the one of the best names in the printing industry. We can take your digital files, be it Photoshop, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Indesign or Publisher, and transfer it directly to plate for our presses to use.
We accept many different file types, they are:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Quark Xpress
- Pagemaker
- Indesign
- Always provide all graphic files and fonts used in the project file.
- If you are sending the files(s) via email please zip or stuff the files before attaching them ot your email.
Weaccept PDF files here at Riegle Press. PDF's are easy to create, save and electronically transmit. Here are a few tips for the creation of PDF's.
- Always create your PDF files using the highest PDF style setting for press (this will increase file sizes but ensure the highest quality). PDFx/1a files are preferred.
- To minimize font conflicts, please embed all fonts.
- When prompted, always save your file with CMYK color options (not RGB)
- If your job includes spot colors, make sure your PDF only has those colors, no duplicates or non-required colors.
- If you are unsure of the file produced it is always safe to send the original files.
- If your image bleeds off the edge of the page, please add an extra 1/8 inch all the way around your image, (ie. if your page is 8.5 x 11 then make your PDF 8.75 x 11.25 in size).
- Don't include crop marks
